Welcome to Gothenburg!

We are pleased to invite you to the 14th Biennial Congress of the European Association of Oral Medicine (EAOM), in conjunction with the World Workshop VII on Oral Medicine, in Gothenburg, Sweden in September 2018.

Gothenburg is located on the west coast of Sweden and is easily accessible from around the world. Because of its size, large, but yet small enough to get around – “lagom” as we Swedes would say, we assure you a wonderful experience. The city has world-class seafood and restaurants and a stunning coastline and archipelago.

The venue of EAOM 2018 will be held at Lindholmen Science Park, Gothenburg, Sweden. The conference center is located along Lindholmen´s waterfront. This area is currently one of Gothenburg´s most knowledge-intensive and growing areas. It is located close to the city center where the hotels, cultural attractions and a wide range of shops and boutiques are found. Also, the conference center is easily accessible by public transport (ferry or bus), bicycle pools or by car.

The international airport Landvetter (GOT) is located 20 kilometres south-east of the city centre and is easily accessible from various destinations in Europe and the world. The airport bus or taxi takes about 20 min to the city center.
